Summer Workshops - July 20, 2008
To the Earth presents a day of workshops Sunday, July 20, 12pm-6pm
THE SCHEDULE
12-1pm Shopping and Registration
12:30-1pm Yoga Warm-up with Dvora - free for participants
1-3pm Bastet - double fans
Learn to layer double fans with belly dance from the "Fan Goddess" herself, Bastet! Learn a new unique brand of fusion dance which combines Tribal Fusion, ATS,
Egyptian Cabaret, Chinese Dance, and pop-n-lock to create powerful and dynamic performances for both troupe and solo work. Participants will need two fans for the
workshop; a limited number of fans will be available for purchase or to borrow the day of the workshop.
3:30-5pm Aniseh - Tahitian Dance
Aniseh will teach the fundamentals of Tahitian dance, which can be used alone or incorporated into pure Bellydance styles. This is a valuable new resource for dancers
to expand their dance horizons and vocabulary to create their own unique combinations and fusions.
6pm PURE - Join Richmond PURE (Public Urban Ritual Experiment) as they take music and dance to the streets of Manchester
- starting right outside Art Works.

Best Deal: $55 pre-reg for both workshops! Early registration ends July 5th
Bastet: $35 early registration ends July 5th, $40 after.
Aniseh: $25 early registration ends July 5th, $30 after.
$65 for both workshops after July 5th.

Continuing Tribal Bellydance
For students with experience in our style or American Tribal Style. Expand your dance vocabulary with new movements for
solo and group work. Through this class, you'll build on the fundamentals as you integrate the elements of tribal style
bellydance - working through more complex improvisational choreography, cueing and movement. Zils (finger cymbals) are
required for this class. Each session introduces different topics based on the
experience level of the dancers who sign up - you can repeat this class without ever getting bored.
Register by May 10! Drop-ins by ATS-experienced dancers and past students are welcome when we have space -
please email or call ahead.
Continuing: Wednesdays, 6:00-7:10 pm / May 14 - June 25
Cost: $50 for 7-week session or drop-in at $10/class

Workshops
To the Earth is available for workshops anywhere you'd like us to come. Workshops can address a specific topic or give a general overview, for groups as small as 10 or as large as 40.
Contact us to schedule one.
Private Instruction
Can't make it to class? Have an advanced or unique challenge you want to work on? We also offer individualized instruction, scheduled when you need it. Private lessons are $35/hr
per person. We can also customize a private lesson to your troupe's needs, at a reduced hourly rate: $55 for 2 people, $65 for 3, $80 for 4-6. Contact us to plan a private lesson.
